How to Make Colours ?

Change your colour model to HSB in Figma 

Change the mode in fill to HSB mode and Modify your 6 variants of colour on the basis of your brand and need . 

How to choose base colour ?

Base colour is the dominant colour of the project and to choose the base colour check the brand colours first. 

List the characteristics of brand and relate it to the colour psychology 

Example KFC is a brand so its base colour would be red which is familiar to its customers.

Accent Colours - Accent colours are used for links , call to actions , progress bar etc.They are usually bright and saturated , you ca make one by choosing base colour and different colour harmonies like monochromatic , analogous etc . 

To make accent colour in figma use primary colour and increase or decrease the hue by 30 or 40 points and also increase or decrease the brightness by 5 to 10 points .
