NOT NULL CONSTRAINT -    Ensures that a column cannot have a null value. DEFAULT CONSTRAINT -    Provides a default value for a column when none is specified  UNIQUE CONSTRAINT -   Ensures that all values in columns are different  CHECK CONSTRAINT -   Makes sure that all values in a column satisfy certain criteria  PRIMARY KEY CONSTRAINT -   Used to uniquely identify a row in the table  FOREIGN KEY CONSTRAINT -   Used to ensure referential integrity of the data  Primary Key - is used uniquely to identify each row in a table . It can consist of one or more columns on a table . Integrated logistics and Logistical competency

 Integrated Logistics - every function should be combined and see its importance.It is a process through which all the logistics departments that earlier operated as silos are brought together as a seamless function . It helps to achieve efficiencies in time as well as cost. Coordination is the key to integrated. 

Types - 

Physical flow - Material handling , delivery , packaging , receiving , inventory management 

Information flow - Forecast, follow up , production planning, procurement planning , prep of shipment  

Administrative flow- order processing , monitoring delivery , scheduling , monitoring payments .


2 objectives of logistics -

1. To minimise overall logistics costs

2. To provide better services to customers 


Logistical competency - It is the assessment of firms capability to provide improved customer service at the lowest possible cost. The 3 Cs Model of logistic competency include -

-Customer --to whom we are aiming to persuade 

-Company --Where we manufacture product to satisfy customer 

-Competitor --One who try to persuade same customer to whom we are aiming at
